Once again, Brian Oja has offered his talents to the Carnival and created an amazing design for the 2018 Buttons and Carnival Passes.
"OLG presents Bon Soo 55 - The Ultimate Block Party" is our theme this year. We are very excited to have our "home" at the beautiful and historic Machine Shop site once again, but we loved the idea of a "Block Party".
Imagine The Machine Shop is one "block" - where you can enjoy the Scotiabank Grand Opening, Fidelity Bum Slides, our new hay maze and many other activities throughout the ten days.
Imagine the Gore St. area is another "block", when the Neighbourhood Resource Centre, ER Employment Consulting and McDougall energy come together with others to bring a great outdoor celebration, and Ball Hockey Tournament, to Saturday, February 3.
The Moose Lodge is always a "block" - home of the traditional Kiwanis Pancake Breakfasts (Feb 3 & 4), and the Town & Country Dancers (Feb 5) who will teach us all to square dance!!
Lower Lake St. will bring the "Ice Block Party" to our favouroite park on February 11 - the OLG Polar Bear Swim, ATV & Side by Side rides offered by Great Lakes Honda, AND the Foremost Dog Pull contest will all be happening there.
The Bon Soo Spirit is everywhere, we hope the "Ultimate Block Party" theme encourages you to think of Community Fun - we'll see you around the block!!
